A 2-column suspended shelving kit to create a two-column shelf unit with wooden shelves, side-by-side, using ceiling-to-floor fitted cables & side-mounted Double Shelf Supports. With shelves suspended on wires, you can create a shelf display in windows, against walls or in the centre of the room! A ready-made cable kit for up to 1m wide wooden shelf boards (not included).

2-Column Suspended Shelves Cable Kit:
(x6) Ceiling-to-Floor fixings
(x6) 4m long steel cables. (cut cable to exact length during installation!)
(x4) Shelf Supports / Side Supports (4 per row).
(x2) Double Shelf Supports / Side-by-Side Supports (2 per row).
(All) Allen Keys, screws and wall plugs are included (Complete installation).
Note: Shelf Supports enable a single shelf board to carry up to 20kg.
Ceiling-to-floor cable installation:
- Separate the ceiling & floor fittings from the brass screw mounts concealed inside their chrome caps.
- Screw the first brass mount into the top/ceiling, and reattach the ceiling-fitting cap with cable.
- With the wire now suspended, align the position for the floor fitting and screw in the floor mount.
- Thread the cable into the floor-fitting cap & tension spring (in that order!)
- Secure the cable stopper and cut off any access cable.
- Reattach the floor cap into the floor mount - The spring inside will maintain cable tension.
- Do the above steps for the second ceiling-to-floor cable - keeping in mind the width of the supports & wooden shelf boards.
