Cable Hanging Shelves Kit:
(x4) Ceiling-to-Floor fixings
(x4) 4m long steel cables. (cut wire to exact length during installation!)
(x4) Under-Shelf Supports (4 per shelf).
(All) Allen Keys, screws and wall plugs are included (Complete installation).
Note: Under-Shelf Supports enable a single shelf board to carry up to 20kg.
Ceiling-to-floor cable installation:
- Separate the ceiling & floor fittings from the brass screw mounts concealed inside their chrome caps.
- Screw the first brass mount into the top/ceiling, and reattach the ceiling-fitting cap with cable.
- With the wire now suspended, align the position for the floor fitting and screw in the floor mount.
- Thread the cable into the floor-fitting cap & tension spring (in that order!)
- Secure the cable stopper and cut off any access cable.
- Reattach the floor cap into the floor mount - The spring inside will maintain cable tension.
- Do the above steps for the second ceiling-to-floor cable - keeping in mind the width of the supports & shelf boards.
- Once all cables are installed correctly, unscrew the floor fitting to add your shelf boards & Under-Shelf Supports.
